“WHERE HAVE YOU PLACED YOUR FAITH?”

Don’t let how you feel determine what you do. Your emotions won’t always connect well with your faith because faith is based on what you believe, not what you feel. Paul said in Ephesians 6:16 for us to take up the shield of faith. When you put on the armor of God, it’s the shield that goes in front to protect from what the enemy is shooting at you. That is a spiritual metaphor explaining that our faith must lead us. It must be what guides us in the battle.

Make sure today, with whatever you’re facing, that your faith leads you and not your emotions. Take up that shield and put your confidence in it, not what your feelings are trying to tell you.

Don’t let fear take the place of your faith.
Don’t let stress take the place of your faith.
Don’t let bitterness take the place of your faith.
Don’t let depression take the place of your faith.
Don’t let doubt take the place of your faith.

You fill in the blank;

Don’t let ____________ take that place of your faith.

I’m not asking if you have faith, I want to know where you have placed it?
