WE KNOW WHAT WE HAVE TO DO

It should be no surprise when we read, see or hear reports about us living in the last days. 1 Thessalonians 5:4 says, “But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief.” We have plenty of other scriptures to prepare us for what is taking place right now. Jesus made sure that we had signs of His coming so we would know when to look for His return. We don’t know the day or the hour, but we do know the events that will lead us into the last days.

We are the body of Christ…the church of the living God…bought by the blood of His death and filled with His Spirit. We have been chosen by Him to preach the gospel and make people aware of His coming. We are not some weak, small group of believers, but we are a mighty force, empowered by the Spirit of God. The church has been called out to take down every adversary and evil opposition that stands in its way. We must not be afraid of what our enemy possesses in this hour. The enemy’s weapons may become more intense, but the strength of the church is no match and no weapon formed against us shall prosper.

Here’s what I believe. We know where we are…we know who we are and now WE KNOW WHAT WE HAVE TO DO. It’s no time for compromise, but it’s time for the church to stand on the Word of God without wavering. It’s time we promote unity over organization and peace over politics. We need to stand for the principals of Holiness and stop dividing over personal preferences. We should fill our cities and communities with the name of Jesus and the gospel that He told us to preach. We know we must stand with Israel and we should not support any leader that chooses not to.

My prayer is that we stop talking about what the church has, and start showing the world what the church does. Let’s stop being a noise and start being a force. There has never been a more important time for the church than currently. As sin becomes prevalent, the church must become more present. We are the city Jesus set on a hill and the light that must shine in this dark hour. People will always run where there is hope and help and that’s exactly what the church must be in these last days. A place that provides hurting people a message in their mess and deliverance in their dilemma.

I’ll say it one more time:

WE KNOW WHERE WE ARE!!!
WE KNOW WHO WE ARE!!!
WE KNOW WHAT WE HAVE TO DO!!!
