“THANK YOU”

As a pastor, I want to give a shout out to all the people in our churches and ministries that work so hard in the Kingdom of God. While some people are arriving at a worship service, there is a core group of people that are already there, making sure things are in perfect working order. They spend untold hours during the week, planning and preparing because they are passionate about what they do. Some people will never know how much time goes into so many unseen things in church work. And while they don’t do it for any personal glory, it must be challenging for them when people criticize and find fault with something they’ve done.

So for all of the unnamed workers that may read this, THANK YOU!!! You may feel like your work has gone unnoticed, but it hasn’t. God knows every minute, second, and hour you’ve invested in His Kingdom, and He will reward you. I’m just one pastor, but I promise you, there are much more that are grateful for what you do. So to our workers at Point Of Mercy in Nashville, TN, and the workers at Soul’s Harbor in Bristol, VA; GOD BLESS YOU FOR WHAT YOU DO…YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE!!!

Why don’t you take this opportunity to thank the volunteers and workers in your church for all the work they do. They may feel unappreciated or like they don’t matter. Make sure they know how much you love and appreciate their labor.

Galatians 6:7-9 (ESV)
7 Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.
8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
