Would you join me today in a prayer for our teachers?
Each Sunday, I ask for you to unite with me in a prayer for something specific. Today, I want that prayer to be focused on those who teach in our churches.
You see, we are blessed to have men and women who are dedicated to teaching our children and students the Word of God. Many of them work a full-time job and still prepare a lesson each week. Sometimes they go unnoticed, and that’s why I want us to pray for them today. In addition to praying for them, why don’t you go to the ones who teach in your church and let them know how much you appreciate them and that you are praying for them too?
If you’re a teacher reading this, I want you to know that you are making a difference and you are a blessing to the Kingdom of God. Let me encourage you to continue doing what you have been called and gifted to do. You are loved, wanted, and needed.
Ephesians 4:11-12 (ESV)
And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors, and TEACHERS,
to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.
Teachers, today we are praying for you and please know this;
YOU MATTER!!!
