PLANTING & PLANNING

I don’t know how someone can take a seed, plant it in the ground and in just a few weeks, it produces a garden of all kinds of vegetables. The one who plants the seed doesn’t really know how it happens either. However, he still prepares the ground, gathers the seed and waits with expectancy of what is going to happen next. The lack of knowledge doesn’t affect the process. For you see, he plants and plans in hope. Even if he doesn’t understand how it happens, it doesn’t stop him from believing that it’s going to happen.

Planting and harvest is another mysterious thing that displays the awesomeness and power of God. We don’t have to understand it to work in it and enjoy the results. The wonderful thing about it is, the earthly process of a garden is also an example of spiritual things that we deal with. There are things  you don’t have to know, to be able to receive. This is why Paul plainly said, “Whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap”. Galatians 6:7.  He never said we had to understand it before we would reap, he just let us know that it will happen.

I’m not going to write about what you planted, because I don’t know what that would be. However, I just want to encourage you to keep believing. Stop trying to figure out what God is working out. You’ve prepared the field, planted the seed, now wait with expectancy. You may not understand the process, but don’t let that affect what you’re anticipating. You planted and planned in hope and even though you don’t understand how it’s going to happen, don’t let that keep you from believing that it’s going to happen.
