We are called to be the light of the world, Jesus even said, we are a city on a hill, that should draw the attention of people who are looking for refuge. When we display the love of God, we are allowing that light to shine brightly in us. All you have to do to cause light to shine is just turn it on, and it will start illuminating. When we show kindness and generosity, we are just turning the light on, and people will begin to see it.
Since it’s Monday, let’s agree to make this a week of shining the light of God revealed by His love. In a world that is getting darker, it should only cause our light to become even brighter. People who need help will run to the light that is shining the brightest. We have the greatest hope for the hurting so let’s make sure we are that beacon that is visible in the night.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
