These days we find ourselves in a juggling act with so many tasks on our things to do list. Just yesterday, I was talking with someone that helps me with personal and church administration about needing to adjust my schedule for some recent changes. At times it’s completely overwhelming, and I’m sure you know exactly how I feel. We’re all dealing with it in one way or another.
Without even realizing it, we are living for ourselves and what we need personally. I hate to add another thing to your list but may be instead of adding this, trade off with something you can afford to stop doing. Why don’t you do something to help somebody win. Find a way to encourage somebody that is a battle right now. Maybe there is a couple you know that is struggling in their marriage. Perhaps a friend has relapsed and needs a word of inspiration. You might know of someone who is battling cancer or another disease threatening to take their lives. I know you’re busy, but pause and help somebody win.
Don’t just say a prayer, let them know you’re praying for them. Send a text or call and speak with them. Make helping somebody win a part of your schedule. Turn it into a habit and not just a reminder. Do it over and over until it becomes natural. Imagine what could happen if we all determined to daily, HELP SOMEBODY WIN!!!
