“HE WILL FINISH WHAT HE STARTED”

The promises of God are like a blank canvas where the artist begins his work. He already sees it finished, so he starts the project with just a few lines. Every stroke and color are filling in the blanks of what he wants it to be. He isn’t sure when it will be complete, but rushing the work could affect the final look. The artist doesn’t get in a hurry because for every line drawn there is a purpose. Everything that is happening is all a part of a beautiful piece of art, and no one will be happier when it’s over than the artist himself.

You and I must understand that when God promises to do something in our lives, the process begins like a blank canvas and God is the artist. He already knows how the finished project should look, so He starts to create His work. Don’t get frustrated when there are only a few lines drawn. Know that with every stroke and color, there is a purpose, and He is getting you closer to completion. It will appear different throughout the various steps, but be patient and let Him do His work. Rushing things could alter the way it’s supposed to be.

Wherever you are today in the process, trust, and know that He will finish what He started.

Philippians 1:6
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
